The PC government intends to keep funding for forest access roads in place.
The previous Liberal government earmarked $54-million.
Natural Resources and Forestry Minister Jeff Yurek says they see value in that money.
Yurek says the roads are valuable for the forestry and tourism industries as well as the safety of firefighters.
