The Provincial Government is investing in the area’s proposed laminated
post and beam manufacturing facility.
The plan calls for the construction of a facility in Red Lake as well
as a manufacturing plant and head office in Wabigoon Lake First Nation.
The strategy also calls for value-added business and training centres
in the Dryden area and could lead to 300-jobs.
The Liberals will provide an additional $386,000 to revise
the business plan, finalize foreign investment agreements and complete
engineering and technical work on the $70-million business plan.
