A number of Northwestern Ontario Hospitals are getting extra money from
the Provincial Government.
The Dryden Regional Health Centre and Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre in
Sioux Lookout will each receive an additional $3.1-million in
operational funds.
Lake of the Woods Hospital in Kenora is getting just over $1 million.
Atikokan General will see $172,000 and the Margaret
Cochenour Memorial Hospital is welcoming an extra $149,000.
The money is aimed at reducing wait times and improving the level of
service.
