Funding For Northwest Innovation Center

The Northwest Innovation Centre is on the receiving end of Northern Ontario Heritage funding.
Minister of Northern Development and Mines Michael Gravelle says the Centre is getting 500-thousand dollars to help create an advanced manufacturing and development lab.
He says this will support business innovation in our region and it will go towards the purchase of prototyping and manufacturing equipment.
In addition, Gravelle says five new jobs are expected to be created.
All in all, Gravelle is pleased with the Innovation Center’s work to help Northern Ontario businesses and services.
