Funding for Pikangikum Multi-Purpose Centre

The community of Pikangikum is getting funding from the Provincial Government to help build a new multi-purpose centre.
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is providing another $485,000 to the project.
It had also pledged just over $50,000 last year.
The facility will include a gymnasium, a fitness complex, and a early childhood centre.
The community says it will be promoting healthy lifestyles with the development of the building.
