Funding for Trail System

The City of Dryden has received $394,000 from a one-time
Provincial infrastructure program.
The funding application was for trail enhancement and development.
City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says they hope to conduct a considerable
amount of work.
Hoogenboom says they hope to use the money to link North Dryden and the Hatch
Memorial Walkway with the downtown as well improve signage on the trail
system.
190-Municipalities received a piece of the $70-million in
funding, only 6 applications in this Region were approved.
