Funding for White Otter Film

An Atikokan film project highlighting the White Otter Castle is one
step closer to production thanks to a $75,000 loan from the
Northern Ontario Media Fund.
The film producers have secured $125,000 and a $75,000
grant application with FedNor would create the necessary capital to make a
pitch to potential investors and broadcasters.
The film would be shot almost entirely in Atikokan and could begin next
summer.
