A campaign is underway to try and bring a spectacular fireworks show back to Wabigoon.
The community’s July 1st fireworks used to be famous, but the spectacle hasn’t been held for roughly 17-years.
Fireworks Fundraiser Organizer Lisa Johnson was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Monday to announce a $10,000 fundraising campaign.
Johnson says she will do everything she can to bring the show back for Canada’s 150th birthday.
There will be a fundraising Ladies Night Dinner and Dance on April 22nd.
