Work on a new state-of-the art track at Dryden High School continues.
Phase one is now complete with the installation of drainage, the expansion of the track and the establishment of an equipment room.
220 metres of storm sewers and 5 catch basins have been installed.
Mike Wood notes the next phase is laying the asphalt and rubber.
Wood says that will be completed next spring.
$110,000 still needs to be raised.
Wood notes they are always accepting donations and stresses several grant applications have been submitted.
Wood held a thank you luncheon Monday at DHS for all of the sponsors and volunteers.
