Community members in Red Lake are coming together to save a well-known aviation monument.
Classic bushplace CF-DRD, a Norseman that is mounted on a pedestal overlooking Howey Bay, sustained severe damage in a hailstorm on July 31st, 2017.
The hail punched holes thoughout the body and wings which could lead to the entire structure falling apart.
Insurance coverage is able to cover some of the costs, but more is needed along with volunteers to support the restoration project.
