A large “funnel cloud” that materialized near Oxdrift appears to have made it all the way to Sioux Lookout before finally running out of steam.
Environment Canada termed it a ‘tornado’ in weather warnings that were issued as the funnell passed through the area.
CKDR’s newsroom received numerous calls from across the district, as well as several pictures and even videos.
