Adult Education programs will continue to be offered in the Region.
Dean Carrie is the Superintendent of Finance for the Public Board and
says the credit program will be moved to different locations in order to
save money.
An additional $200,000 in grants is needed to operate adult ed.
In order to save money, the correspondence program will be moved in
Sioux Lookout and Red Lake to the respective High School’s.
Carrie says they are considering renting out their adult education
space in the Training Centre and moving the program to Dryden High.
