Future of FedNor

It looks as if Liberal MP’s in Northern Ontario will be getting their
wish.
Members of Parliament in this Region have been lobbying the Federal
Finance Minister for stable, annual funding for FedNor.
Joe Comuzzi is the Minister responsible for the Regional economic development agency and while he won’t say exactly how much money FedNor will be
getting in the upcoming budget, he says the future looks bright.
The Northern Liberal Caucus had been lobbying for a stable funding
envelope of about $60 million a year.
