More bad news for the Resolute Forest Products mill in Fort Frances.
There are reports that the company is planning to reduce its employee numbers.
This as the pulp and paper mill is getting ready to resume production next week.
Steve Boon is a representitive of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers union and
says they are still trying to determine the impact on their members.
Company spokesperson Pierre Choquette says the company is facing market uncertainty but wouldn’t confirm the report of job cuts.
He says they are looking forward to getting one machine back in production.
