Drydenites should not worry about recyclables piling up on the streets with the upcoming demise of the Northwest Ontario Recycle Association.
Dryden City Engineer Brad Johns says he is confident a new organization will be ready to go in seven weeks time.
However, Johns warns there may be a week or two with no blue box pickup.
A number of communities including Atikokan and Fort Frances have expressed interest in taking part in the Dryden program but Kenora has already stated it will be doing its own recycling as of July 1st.
