The future is uncertain for two schools in the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
Hudson School and Sioux Narrows School are being singled out in a new study.
Director of Education Dave Mcleod says declining enrolment and excess space in the schools are just two factors being examined.
Mcleod adds other smaller schools have already gone through the process.
For example, a massive study led to the upcoming closure of three Dryden-area schools to make way for one large facility, now under construction.
