Garbage Hurting Dryden Mission Bottom Line

The Dryden Mission is making a plea to community members to not drop off items that can’t be sold or given away.
Executive Director Pastor Jim Shearer says people are dropping off old and soiled mattresses and furniture.
Shearer says this is resulting in costly trips to the landfill site.
Shearer notes one trip last week cost him $99 and stresses that comes out of the Mission budget.
He says their main goal is to recycle items and not throw them away.
