In addition to the highway closures, the last blast of winter weather has hindered other public services, including garbage collection in Dryden.
In a release the City of Dryden says residents who live directly on Highway 17 and were expecting to have their garbage collected today, will instead have it picked up on Monday.
Public Works apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause.
