Gas Expert Predicting Little Change In Prices Following Explosion

A Senior Petroleum Analyst says it could be a few days before we know whether or not the east coast oil refinery explosion will have any effect on gasoline prices.

Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says there doesn’t appear to be any impact right now.

He says looking at the markets, there wasn’t much movement, despite the explosion.

McTeague says that could change later this week, once Irving Oil gets a better look at the extent of the damage.

He adds that he doesn’t expect any shortage in fuel following the incident at Canada’s biggest refinery.
