A Northeastern Ontario MPP is calling for immediate action with fears
that gas prices may jump to as high as $2 a litre.
NDP Transportation Critic Gilles Bisson says the Premier is standing
idly by, while big oil companies rake in record profits.
Bisson encourages motorists to express their anger and sign an
on-line petition by clicking on to the Ontario NDP Website.
The Premier said Thursday the Government won’t implement a price
freeze or set up a watchdog, noting the Federal Competition Bureau should
look into the matter.
