Union Gas has adjusted its annual rates and Northwestern Ontario customers will benefit as a result.
The average residential consumer will see a decrease of $136 annually on their gas bill.
Spokesperson Elizabeth Havelock says a drop in transportation rates as well as the cost to purchase gas played a factor in their decision.
Havelock adds the price is adjusted every 3-months due to supply and
demand.
