Dryden and other smaller Northern communities won’t be seeing a single cent of gas tax funds.
The Provincial Government announced yesterday that Municipalities without a public transit system won’t be getting any money.
Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says she’s not surprised but they are expecting to hear soon whether the Federal Government will give them a portion of the gas tax.
Krassilowsky adds they will also try and convince the Province to free up some funds for Handi-Transit.
