The City of Dryden has purchased a piece of land that has been vacant for some time.
Officials have closed a deal on 20 Earl Avenue for $42,000 and plan to spruce it up.
City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says the property is seen as a centre piece for the Gateway Enhancement project.
Hoogenboom says they hope to begin landscape work shortly that would include the addition of greenspaces, trees, benches and a permanent Christmas Tree for the City.
