Geoff Zilkalns Wins Top OFSAA Award

Dryden High School Athletic Director Geoff Zilkalns has received OFSAA’s highest honour.
Zilkalns received the Coaching Excellence award Wednesday night at the OFSAA banquet at the Legion.
He has been involved in High School athletics for some 30-years in coaching, refereeing and teaching.
The award is handed out yearly to one individual who has dedicated his career to grooming and building young leaders.
Zilkalns says he started getting involved in the program once he returned from University and notes Ward Cockrell got him started in coaching.
He adds he was completely surprised with the award but honoured for the recognition.
