A new Affiliate Girls Hockey team is being formed in Dryden this year.
The Bantam program is partnering with the High School Eagles team to establish the club.
Girls Hockey President Ed Trist says it’s an opportunity to grow the sport.
Trist says “it gives the girls the drive to further hockey and helps out the Eagles team with development and it should be pretty exciting.
He notes it’s an idea that they have had for years.
Trist expects tryouts to begin later this month.
