Girls Hockey Team Off To Final 4

The Dryden Eagles will play for a medal at the OFSAA Girls Hockey championship in Kenora.

The Blue and Gold advanced to the Semi-Final Wednesday with a 2-0 win over #2 ranked Char-Lan out of Cornwall.

Once again Dryden dominated early but couldn’t beat goalie Tosha Burns.

Cara Balla finally found the back of the net with a beautiful shot from the point midway through the second.

Emmy Arsenault added some insurance in the third.

Dryden outshot Char-Lan 29-10.

The Eagles will face their stiffest test yet as they have to through top ranked St. Michaels.

They breezed into the Final 4 with a 6-0 win over Southwood Secondary.

Game time is 4:00 at the Kenora Rec Centre.

CKDR will once again have the call.
