The Dryden Eagles will play for a medal at the OFSAA Girls Hockey championship in Kenora.
The Blue and Gold advanced to the Semi-Final Wednesday with a 2-0 win over #2 ranked Char-Lan out of Cornwall.
Once again Dryden dominated early but couldn’t beat goalie Tosha Burns.
Cara Balla finally found the back of the net with a beautiful shot from the point midway through the second.
Emmy Arsenault added some insurance in the third.
Dryden outshot Char-Lan 29-10.
The Eagles will face their stiffest test yet as they have to through top ranked St. Michaels.
They breezed into the Final 4 with a 6-0 win over Southwood Secondary.
Game time is 4:00 at the Kenora Rec Centre.
