The Dryden Go-Getters club is celebrating its 50th anniversary Saturday.
500-seniors are now involved with the group that meets daily to take
part in various activities and events.
President Sharon McGreggor says the club has a proud tradition.
Mcgreggor notes the club has been in several locations over the past
50-years before finally setting up shop at 84 St. Charles Street.
Opening ceremonies are planned for 11:00 with Kenora MP Roger Valley,
NDP Leader Howard Hampton and Mayor Anne Krassilowsky all scheduled to
take part.
