Go That Way

It’s that time of year again. Time for road painting.

Yes those bright white and yellow lines on the asphalt that tell us where to go, where to stop and what’s ahead.

Crews have been out this week in communities around the region refreshing the weather beaten directional colors at intersections and more. They’re doing a great job as they do every spring-summer.

But wait a minute. If you live, work and play in Sunset Country you know for many months out of the year sometimes we barely see the colored lines due to Mother Nature’s wrath of winter. It’s ok though. We’ve adapted to knowing where to go and where to stop during the year’s harshest time.

So if we can do it in the winter with barely any guidance available at times we should be able to do it no problem in the summer. Right?

Nah. That’s just a crazy sarcastic thought from a caffeine deprived morning radio guy who needs a lot of direction. Turns (pun intended) out we need those lines…..or at least I do.

Just ask my wife. “You were supposed to turn there!”

More caffeine please……
