The Dryden Raleigh Falls Timber AA Bantam Paperkings traveled to Morris this past weekend and captured gold at the tournament.
The Paperkings lost to the Northern knights in their first game 3 to 1 with an empty net goal.
From that point on the Paperkings took off winning their next 2 games, both 6 to 1 against the Central Plains Capitals, and the Southwest Jets putting the team in the gold medal finals.
The Paperkings faced the host Pembina Valley Twisters in the hard fought final. The Paperkings came out on top with a 4 to 3 victory.
