Encouraging news out of Treasury Metals.
The Toronto based company has updated the resource estimate for its Goliath gold project 20-kilometers east of Dryden.
CEO Martin Walter says gold and gold equivalent is 810,000 ounces.
That’s more than double the amount in the estimate of 2010.
Treasury officials say another 900,000 ounces of gold and gold equivalent is likely contained in the area.
Walter says the results significantly decreases the risks of the project’s future development and another exploration program in the area is planned for December.
