Goldcorp Looks at Red Lake Mine

Construction of a new shaft at the Red Lake Goldcorp Mine is back on
schedule after a few delays last year.
General Manager Claude Lemasson says work is going well as crews have
hit the 2,700 foot mark in sinking and completed a new 16-level
station.
Goldcorp CEO Rob McEwan is excited about the progress and says the
company also plans to take advantage of exploration opportunities.

n039 runs: 11 sec. out…red lake.

The new shaft will be completed to a depth of over 7,000 feet
and will increase production by 45%.
