Golden Results on the Courts and on the Mat

5 Dryden residents reached the podium at the Grant Park Open Wrestling
Tournament in Winnipeg over the weekend.
Cynthia Keplin led the way, picking up Gold in the Girls 65 kilogram
division.
In the Boys 54-kilogram category, Kristian Wilson and Thomas Ambridge
finished second and third.
Alex Ashburn and Kristyn Lapointe also walked away with bronze medals
in their respective divisions.
Down the Trans-Canada, the Sioux Lookout Warrior Senior Boys
Basketball team was in Steinbach for a High School tournament.
The Warriors breezed through the competition going undefeated.
Clinton Belisle was named to the tournament all-star team.
