Golden Share Mining has acquired a high grade gold and silver past producer in the Red Lake area.
The company has obtained the 238-hectare Berens River property, located about 200-kilometres north of Red Lake.
The site is home to the former Berens River Mine which produced 158,000 ounces of gold and 5.8-million ounces of silver from 1939 to 1948.
It also produced zinc and lead.
Company officials say considerable exploration potential remains on the property.
