Thunder Bay could finally be getting good news Friday that the
Bombardier plant will build new streetcars for Toronto.
Premier McGuinty and Toronto Mayor David Miller are expected to announce that a deal to buy 204 streetcars will proceed.
Bombardier has said the deal could create 20,000 jobs in the
province and generate nearly $500-million in tax revenue.
The contract is worth more than $1.2-billion.
