“Can u do a shout out to the snow clearing Dryden Public Works staff for working nights clearing snow? Those are the kinda staff that don’t get a lot of appreciation.”
Okay, let’s talk about these snowbanks for a second?
At this point, they’re not snowbanks, they’re mountains.
I’m pretty sure one of them has a doorman.

You know it’s serious when you pull up to an intersection and you’re doing the
“lean forward… lean left… lean forward again” just to see if anyone’s coming.
And your driveway? It’s basically a guess what you get most mornings.

But here’s the part that made me smile, while most of us are inside,
warming up with our coffee?
There are city crews out there overnight, quietly battling those snow mountains.
Plows, loaders, trucks, lighting up the dark, widening lanes,
clearing corners, hauling away the piles so the rest of us can get around
without needing a ladder or a spotter.

It’s not glamorous, and it’s definitely not warm.
but it makes a huge difference.
So if you woke up today and thought,
“Huh… this road feels a little wider,”
that wasn’t magic, that is teamwork.
To the overnight snow crews: you’re the unsung heroes of winter. Thank you!
