In loving memory of Gordon Owen McLeod who passed away at the Dryden Regional Health Center on Thursday, December 24th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Gordon was a successful business owner and a long time member of the Millwright Union. His millwright profession gave him the opportunity to live in many Northern Ontario communities. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Loyal Order of the Moose and participated in many activities and clubs within both organizations. Lately he especially enjoyed Karaoke. Gordon was an outdoorsman, was mechanically minded and very inventive.
He is survived and deeply missed by Pauline, his loving wife of 24 years, his daughter Cindy (Sam) and husband Peter Whittington, son Patrick and wife Denise, grandsons Brian and Matt, step-son Dean and wife Sue German, step-grandchildren Paul, Heather and Zach German, great-grandchild Clayton German, sister Marian Krzywda, and numerous other family members and friends.
A Memorial Funeral Service was held Wednesday, December 30th at 11:00 a.m. in the Moffat Chapel of the Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Matheson officiating. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
