The first Dryden ‘Got Talent’ event is being deemed a great success.
The tournament wrapped up last Saturday at the Central.
A total of $6,000 was raised for the Dryden Hospital Oncology Department.
Organizer Suzanne Joly-Cesiunas says when she first visited the oncology department it made her aware how important it was to raise funds for those who had cancer and could not afford treatment.
Her fundraising goal is $10,000.
The event also showcased some of the many talents in the community.
Maureen Norman was crowned the champion.
Marc Vlassoff and Tim Hannet came in second and third respectively.
