The Provincial Government is starting to consult with municipal, business and aboriginal leaders about a growth plan for northern Ontario.
Minister of Infrastructure, David Caplan and Northern Development and Mines Minister, Rick Bartolucci were in Kenora yesterday to get feedback from municipal politicians from across the region.
Caplan says the Go North initiative is really a long term strategic plan for the north.
He adds they expect to have a draft plan ready in about six months and will bring that back for more feedback.
