The mid year assesments of Grade Nine Geography students
has been released.
The Keewatin Patricia District School Board implemented
the tracking system, because the class has a very low
sucess rate.
Spokesperson Sherrie Quistberg says they will also be
tracking next semesters geography students.

The results are preliminary, Ignace and Red Lake were
not included in the study. Ignace only offers the
Geography program in the second semester, and Red Lake’s
program is year round.
