Grand Chief of Treaty #3 Faces Sexual Assault Char

The Grand Chief of Treaty #3 is facing criminal charges.
OPP have charged 49-year-old Leon Jourdain with sexual assault.
The charge stems from an incident last Thursday but no other details have been made available.
Police say Jourdain has been released from the custody.
Reid Thompson is the Operations Manager of Treaty #3 and says the leadership of the organization will be meeting next week to discuss the situation.
Thompson says the issue is being taken very seriously.
Jourdain is due to appear in Kenora Court on April 6th.
Under the terms of his release, Jourdain has been instructed not to contact or attend the Treaty #3 offices.
