Grassy Narrows to hold rally against nuclear waste

The battle against an underground nuclear waste repository in northwestern Ontario is continuing.

The Grassy Narrows First Nation is holding a rally in Thunder Bay today.

It take place at Waverly Park at noon.

Grassy Narrows says it’s “against the Nuclear Waste Management Organization’s plan to transport, bury and abandon all of Canada’s high-level nuclear waste at the Revell site in the heart of the Treaty 3 area in Northwestern Ontario.”
