The new minister of Northern Development and Mines says he’s excited by the direction his government is taking in the Throne Speech.
The speech was read Thursday afternoon at Queen’s Park and
Michael Gravelle says there is the promise of another 40 million dollars for the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.

Gravelle says the Liberal governent also made a pledge to continue the Forest Sector Prosperity Fund.
He adds that there are also a number of program that will be launched to assist aboriginal communities in northern Ontario.
