Ontario is a leader in North America when it comes to protecting species at risk.
That’s the opinion of Province’s Natural Resources Minister Michael Gravelle in regards to Environment Commissioner Gord Miller’s recent report.
Miller says the Province isn’t doing enough to protect endangered species, but Michael Gravelle disagrees.
Gravelle notes the Government is protecting over 200-endangered species in Ontario.
Gravelle says he appreciates the report and hopes to further strengthen the Province’s Legislation to help protect at risk species.
