Gravelle Shocked With Raucous Question Period

It’s something Michael Gravelle has never seen before in his life as a long-time politician.

The Thunder Bay-Superior North MPP says it was shocking to see politicians and members of the public cleared out of Queen’s Park and even arrested during Question Period on Wednesday.

Gravelle says it was a startling development and something that he never wants to see again.

The Liberal members feels a better way of protesting the government’s plan to reduce the size of Toronto City Council would be to vote against it.

However, he admits people have the right to express their opposition.

Gravelle is vowing to do what he can to delay the passage of legislation.

Meantime, the Legislature will sit for a rare weekend session in order to speed up the passing of the bill.
