Michael Gravelle says the weekend malfunction of the Nipigon River Bridge was minor.
The Thunder Bay-Superior North Liberal candidate stresses the bridge is safe to drive on in spite of the fact it was the second incident since it opened in late 2015.
Our newsroom has already spoken to the NDP and PC candidates about the bridge malfunction and they told us they were disappointed.
Gravelle says the current work will continue.
