An impressive debut for the Dryden High School Cross-Country race team at the opening event in Thunder Bay.
The Midget Girls and Junior Boys clubs both took home silver in their first competition.
Coach Mike Wood says the Senior Girls were well on track for second overall behind powerhouse Hammarskjold and will seriously challenge for the top spot later this month.
Taylor Koshel had the top showing with a second place showing in the Senior Girls Division.
Wood says DHS’s first attempt at Cross-Country couldn’t have gone better.

Nicole Valiquette 5th Senior Girls – in her first race EVER.!
