Great Showing for Dryden and Atikokan at NORWOSSA Final

The Dryden Eagles first trip to the Nordic Ski Championship was a
successful one.
The event was held Tuesday at Mount Evergreen in Kenora.
Nicole Valiquette and Candance Glowa placed second and third in the
Junior Girls Division.
Nikki Mallyon finished 6th.
In Junior Boys, Kiell Schmidt crossed the finish line in second,
while Peter Sorensen of Atikokan was just behind in third.
Dryden’s Nathon Mallyon finished 6th and Forrest Penner 7th.
On the Senior Boys side, Jed Nixon of Dryden finished second, with Atikokan’s Brian Luptak third.
Kameron Zawada of Dryden came in 4th.
Morgan Reilly of Atikokan finished third in the Senior Girls division.
The NWOSSA Final is Wednesday in Kenora.
In the Grade 8 Division, Tyler Wood of Dryden finished 3rd.
On the Girls side, Heidi Hutchinson crossed the finish line in 3rd, while Daniel Glowa placed 5th.
