The driver of a Greyhound bus that crashed near Upsala two years ago says he was under no pressure from the OPP to have Shaun Davis board the bus in Ignace.
Albert Dolph testified at the inquiry looking into the death of Mary Louise Lent who died following the crash.
Dolph said it is up to the driver to accept passengers and when he first saw Davis he appeared calm.
Several passengers have said Davis was standing in the bus stairwell for several minutes before he lunged at the steering wheel causing the bus to veer off the road.
A Superior Court ruling determined the Nova Scotia man was not criminally responsible for causing the crash by reason of mental disorder.
