Ground-Breaking For Splash Park

Children in Dryden will soon be able to cool off during the summer.

A ground-breaking has been held for the new splash park.

Construction crews began groundwork last week with ground stripping, safety fencing and sub trade visits.

The City began installing sewer/wastewater today, and will follow with granular preparation and forming. Foundation work will start July 25th and will continue into early August, with completion and opening to the public expected mid-August.

Upon completion, the City of Dryden will maintain and service the Splash Park.

Beyak Automotive Group, owners of Dryden GM, provided $230,000 in funding for the project.

The 28 hundred square foot splash park is located in Rotary Park.
