Group Calling For Alcohol Strategy

A coalition of health organizations is looking for a provincial alcohol strategy.

The group is concerned the introduction of beer sales to grocery stores will result in increased consumption and health issues.

They say alcohol abuse is already costing the province $5.3-billion annually for such things as policing, health care, lost productivity and social problems related to alcohol.
